We have 4 1/2 year-old twins and a new baby on the way in October and we still do not have a will. Our son has autism and we have not even begun to document how to handle any special needs he may have as an adult.

That is just not responsible.

When the kids were born we got around to getting life insurance policies and talked to our lawyer about meeting to do the will but then never got around to it. Creating the document takes time and money, but not filling it out could make or break all of the other plans that we have put together to handle if one of us die and that would be horrible.

So, this is my public reminder. My public scolding. I will contact the lawyer this week and schedule an appointment to create our will.
