I just bought an Asus Eee PC laptop the other day. I decided not to pick up any accessories until I had a chance to play with it for a few days. I love it so far.

Since it is so light and fits so well inside my backpack, that is how I plan on carrying it around. I frequently throw a lot of other junk in their, too, so I’m going to pick up one of these Shock Absorbing Microfiber Laptop Sleeve Case. It is designed for 8″ to 10″. The Asus Eee PC is only 7″ but with the speakers on the side of the monitor, it is really closer to a 9″ size.

The laptop case is lined with memory foam to help protect the computer if you drop it. It is also waterproof which could come in handy if a water bottle leaks in the backpack. This case will also keep the Asus Eee PC free from scratches which is my main reason for buying a case anyway.

This case does not have a handle which is perfect for carrying inside a backpack. There will not be any handle to get tangled with things in the backpack.
